Why We Built This Site
Finding the correct custodian is often harder than describing the record. The Glasscock County Sheriff's Office handles local incident and arrest material, but it publishes no online request form or booking log. The combined clerk routes constitutional County Court misdemeanors and 118th District Court felonies from a separate South Myrl counter. Texas DPS maintains statewide CCH, TDCJ handles state-prison custody, and the Texas Public Sex Offender Registry supplies registry data. The site brings those channels, limits, fees, and phone-first fallbacks into one local reference.
What You Will Find Here
- Local court routes: where Glasscock County criminal case indexes, dockets, judgments, and certified dispositions are requested
- Official state checks: how Texas DPS name searches differ from FAST fingerprint personal reviews
- Custody and arrest paths: how to identify the outside jail that accepted a Glasscock County prisoner
- Record relief: the difference between Texas expunction under Chapter 55A and an order of nondisclosure
What We Cannot Do
This privately operated resource has no affiliation with Glasscock County, a Texas court, the sheriff, Texas DPS, TDCJ, or any other government agency. Its limits are firm:
- It cannot retrieve an official criminal history or run a government background check
- It cannot issue a certified court, sheriff, DPS, custody, or registry record
- It cannot submit a public-record request or expunction filing for a visitor
- It cannot correct a record or decide how Texas law applies to a specific case
- It cannot promise that an outside office has not changed a fee, address, or process
Only the office that maintains a Glasscock County or Texas record can confirm its current contents and provide an official copy.
Search Partners
Some search boxes are supplied by outside providers. Those companies control their own results, prices, terms, and privacy practices. A paid signup reached through a partner may generate a referral fee that supports the site. Partner output is not a Glasscock County government record and must be checked against the clerk, sheriff, Texas DPS, or other originating office.
